NHS begins trial of AI Tool to speed up prostate cancer diagnosis

A £1.9 million study funded by Prostate Cancer UK is testing an AI tool – the ArteraAI Prostate Biopsy Assay, across several NHS hospitals. The system analyses digitised biopsy images to produce personalised risk scores, helping clinicians identify which patients may need treatment sooner and who could be safely monitored while further evidence is gathered.
